1. Information Stored Locally in Your Browser

To ensure proper functionality of the application, we store certain job metadata (such as job configurations, settings, or recent session activity) locally in your web browser's Local Storage.

• Purpose: Functional operation and user experience persistence.
• Control: This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us for tracking purposes. You can clear your browser's Local Storage at any time through your browser settings.

2. Uploaded Job Data and Computational Results

When you submit job data for processing:

• Processing & Storage: Your uploaded job data and any resulting computational output are stored temporarily on our servers solely to process your request and deliver the results back to you.
• Retention: All uploaded job data and associated computational results are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 30 days after processing.

3. IP Addresses and Anonymity

• No IP Storage: Your IP address is not logged or stored on our servers.
• No Association: It is impossible for us to link uploaded job data, computational results, or local browser metadata back to your personal identity or IP address.

4. Web Analytics (Matomo)

We use the open-source web analytics tool Matomo to analyze general website usage and improve user experience. Matomo is self-hosted on our own servers, ensuring that all collected data remains entirely under our control and is never shared with third parties.

• No Cookies: Matomo is configured strictly in cookieless mode (disableCookies). No tracking cookies (such as _pk_id or _pk_sess) are stored on your device.
• IP Anonymization: Your IP address is automatically anonymized prior to any storage or processing. It is impossible to draw conclusions about your individual identity from the processed data.
• Do Not Track: We respect your browser's "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. If enabled in your web browser, Matomo will automatically refrain from recording any session information.
• Legal Basis: The processing of anonymized traffic logs is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in technical optimization, security, and the continuous improvement of our web application.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your uploaded job data or results with any third parties.
